The UEAC is a small but wealthy federation, mostly consisting of planets in the Hivarr system after the Azarya spread out over its planets, claming them in the name of their Empress. Only one race in the Hivarr system has ever attempted to attack the Empire and were assimilated after their unsuccesful attempt to invade the Azaryan homeworld. Azaryan rule usually favours their own people, but every person on a planet always has a set of basic rights.

Until recently, the UEAC has remained mostly isolational, shunning contact with other worlds. However, with the recent passing of their Empress, the new Empress has decided to open their borders to other races and attempt entry into the Union. It was also not until this moment that people started to realise that these worlds were far more advanced than previously thought, having a vast industry and numerous precious metals.

Though originally militaristic, the UEAC is now trying to trade peacefully with other nations, with various results.
